LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON WINE REGION
The wine region of Languedoc-Roussillon is located between Nîmes, Perpignan and Carcassonne. Neffiès is right in between. For example, wineries in this area can easily be visited from Villa la Pinède.
Neffiès is very popular among wine lovers. This old village is located near the wine regions of Minervois, between Languedoc and Rousillon. Neffiès is centrally located and you can visit various wine regions within half an hour's drive.
Just south of Villa la Pinède are the wine regions of Corbières and Minervois, known for the best red wines from Languedoc-Rousillon. A 20-minute drive inland is Faugères, home to magisterial red wines, while Picpoul-de-Pinet (the other way to the Mediterranean
Zee) is famous for its fresh, dry white wines.
